Who We Are

R. Andrew Cox
Qualified Manager

     VIS's foundation is based on Andy's 20 years of law enforcement experience, exclusively with the San Francisco Police Department. Over his career, Andy had many assignments, including several years of performing criminal investigations as a Sergeant of Police. When promoted to Lieutenant of Police, Andy held the positions of Officer in Charge (OIC) for the SFPD's Mission Station Investigative Team, the Internal Affairs Division, and the Legal Division.

     Andy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and was a licensed stockbroker for TD Waterhouse (Series 7, 63) prior to his entry into law enforcement. 

 

    Andy is currently licensed in California and Arizona, as well as member of the California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI), the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), the National Council of Investigation and Security Services (NCISS), the World Association of Detectives (WAD), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the San Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA), and ProVisors.
