Virtus Investigative Services LLC ("Virtus," "we," "us," or "our") is a California licensed private investigations firm (CA PI License #189367) located at 2931 Cañon St #6186, San Diego, CA 92106. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through our website at virtusinvestigativeservices.com (the "Site") and, where noted, in the course of providing investigative services to our clients.

Information you provide. When you contact us through the Site, request a consultation, or engage us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, company, and a description of your matter. Only share what is necessary; do not transmit sensitive details about third parties through unencrypted channels.
Information collected automatically. This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the Site.

5. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers (hosting, email, secure document delivery) under written confidentiality terms;
- With co-counsel, experts, or vendors when expressly authorized by the client to advance an engagement;
- When required by law, valid legal process, or to protect legal rights, safety, or property.
6. Data retention
We retain Site inquiry data for a reasonable period necessary to respond and document the inquiry. Client engagement records are retained in accordance with California licensing requirements and our internal records-retention schedule, after which records are securely destroyed.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please use discretion when transmitting sensitive information.
